KKR Sees Economic Net Income Rise 39%

Private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. saw its economic net income rise 39% in the fourth quarter, Reuters said. The firm attributed the growth to stronger investment returns and capital raising. Economic net income was $714.6 million in the fourth quarter, compared with a $515.3 million a year earlier, Reuters wrote.

(Reuters) – Private equity firm KKR & Co LP (KKR.N) said fourth-quarter economic net income rose nearly 39 percent amid stronger investment returns and capital raising.

Economic net income, a measure used by private equity firms like the Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co parent to report earnings, was $714.6 million in the fourth quarter, compared with a $515.3 million a year earlier.
