KKR Sets Up Shop in Dubai

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. said on Monday it has set up a subsidiary in Dubai to do business in the Middle East and North Africa.

KKR MENA Ltd was granted a license by the Dubai Financial Services Authority to operate from the Dubai International Financial Centre, it said.

KKR MENA will pursue private equity and infrastructure transactions in the region and engage in the distribution of various KKR products, it said. (Reporting by Paritosh Bansal, editing by Gerald E. McCormick)
