


The Kleinfelder Group Inc, which is backed by Wind Point Partners, has acquired the geotechnical, environmental and materials testing division of Advantage Engineers G&E. No financial terms were disclosed.

Chicago, IL, December 11, 2019 – Wind Point Partners and portfolio company The Kleinfelder Group, Inc. (“Kleinfelder”), a leading engineering, construction management, design, and environmental professional services firm, are pleased to announce that Kleinfelder has acquired the geotechnical, environmental, and materials testing division of Advantage Engineers, LLC (“Advantage G&E”). Advantage G&E is a trusted partner to commercial and government clients in the Mid-Atlantic region, operating across industrial real estate, transportation, energy, and utilities markets.
Advantage G&E is uniquely positioned to serve the Industrial Distribution & Logistics and Commercial Development markets, which will be new markets for Kleinfelder in the Mid-Atlantic region and enhance existing service offerings for new and existing clients. The combined organization will serve clients throughout the U.S. With the transaction, Kleinfelder is adding new office locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland.

Advantage G&E represents the first acquisition for Kleinfelder since the company’s November 2018 partnership with Wind Point.
