Kluger Joins Aquiline

Steven Kluger has joined Aquiline Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on the financial services sector, as a senior advisor. He previously was president and CEO of GE Capital Markets Services.

Aquiline Capital Partners LLC (“Aquiline”), a New York based private equity firm investing in financial services, today announced that Steven F. Kluger has joined the firm as a Senior Advisor. Mr. Kluger has over 26 years of experience in global investments, banking and finance, most recently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Capital Markets Services, Inc. Mr. Kluger will join Rick Wolfert, formerly Vice Chairman, Commercial Finance of CIT Group, who has also recently joined the firm as a Senior Advisor, in assisting Aquiline in evaluating opportunities in the commercial and specialty finance sectors.

Prior to joining Aquiline, Mr. Kluger was President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Capital Markets Services, Inc. (CMS) and a Vice President of the General Electric Company (GE). Mr. Kluger expanded CMS to employ over 250 professionals in 22 cities worldwide that arrange securitization, syndication, placement and export finance transactions. Prior to joining GE, Mr. Kluger worked at Irving Trust Company. Mr. Kluger is currently a member of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Capital Markets Consultative Group.
