Kohl to SSG Capital Advisors

SSG Capital Advisors, an independent special situations investment bank, has appointed Teresa Kohl as director, business development. In this role, Kohl will be responsible for business development, cultivating and maintaining referral source and client relationships and advising clients on special situations transactions. She will be based in the firm’s New York City office.

SSG Capital Advisors, LLC (SSG), a leading independent special situations investment bank, announced the recent appointment of Teresa Kohl as Director, Business Development. In this role, Kohl will be responsible for business development, cultivating and maintaining referral source and client relationships and advising clients on special situations transactions. She will be based in the firm’s New York City office.

Kohl has over 14 years of restructuring experience, having worked with middle market companies on corporate restructuring and financial advisory assignments. She most recently served as a senior consultant with Bridge Associates LLC.

Kohl currently serves on the board of directors of the New York Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association. She is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, having served as a regional conference committee member, and is a member of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Villanova University.

Capital, the sale of Tobacco Rag Processors, Inc. to an ESOP and related private placement of $75 million in senior secured credit facilities, the sale of Frank Parsons Inc. to The Supply Room Companies, Inc., the sale of Townsends, Inc. to Peco Foods, Inc. and Omtron, Ltd. and the sale of sale of the Gorham Paper Mill to an affiliate of Patriarch Partners.
