KPCB Closes TAS Deal

TAS Energy, the Houston-based provider of renewable and energy products, took a late stage financing from California VC Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers. Specifics of the deal were not publicized, but KPCB partner John Denniston will jump on board with TAS Energy.

TAS Energy Closes Deal with Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers
Financing to provide late stage capital to support continued growth in renewables (geothermal and waste heat), and energy efficiency solutions.
HOUSTON–TAS Energy Inc. (www.tas.com) today announced it has closed a late stage financing from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB). This funding will be utilized to support the growth TAS is realizing across all four of its business units that focus on renewables and energy efficiency.
