Lee Equity Partners has promoted Mark Mauceri to partner.

Lee Equity Partners has promoted Mark Mauceri to partner. Also, the middle-market private equity firm upped John Eppler and Thomas Holdstein to principal. The appointments became effective January 1, 2022.

NEW YORK, New York, January 6, 2022 — Lee Equity Partners (“Lee Equity” or the “Firm”), a New York based private equity firm focused on growth oriented middle market buyouts, announced the promotion of three investment professionals, effective January 1, 2022. Mark Mauceri was promoted to Partner, and John Eppler and Thomas Holdstein were promoted to Principal. Including the newest promotion, the average tenure of the Lee Equity investment partners is approximately 14 years.

The promotions recognize the contributions of these individuals to the continued growth and success of the Firm. In the past 12 months, Lee Equity has made 3 new platform investments and nearly 40 portfolio company add-on acquisitions.

Mark Mauceri, Partner
Mark Mauceri was promoted from Principal to Partner. Prior to joining Lee Equity in 2015, Mr. Mauceri was a Senior Associate with Corsair Capital, LLC. Prior to Corsair Capital, LLC, he was an Analyst with UBS Investment Bank in the Financial Institutions Group. Mr. Mauceri serves on the board of directors of Skopos Financial Group, Captive Resources, McLarens Global Limited, and Simplicity Group Holdings. Mr. Mauceri received a B.A. from the College of William and Mary, where he studied Economics.

John Eppler, Principal
John Eppler was promoted from Vice President to Principal. Prior to joining Lee Equity in 2019, Mr. Eppler was an Associate at Northlane Capital Partners and an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group of Jefferies LLC. Mr. Eppler has been involved in the firm’s investments in Inception Fertility, Solaris Health, and Summit BHC. Mr. Eppler received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A in Healthcare Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors and was a Howard E. Mitchell fellow.

Thomas Holdstein, Principal
Thomas Holdstein was promoted from Vice President to Principal. Prior to joining Lee Equity in 2016, Mr. Holdstein was an Associate at Oliver Wyman. Mr. Holdstein serves on the board of directors of Atria Wealth Solutions, Captive Resources, and K2 Insurance Services. Mr. Holdstein received a B.S. with magna cum laude honors from Cornell University, where he studied finance.
