Lee Goldberg Joins Getzler Henrich

Lee Goldberg has been named a Boston-based managing director with Getzler Henrich & Associates, a middle-market corporate turnaround and restructuring firm. He previously was a founding partner of The Recovery Group, and a partner with Coopers & Lybrand.




Lee Goldberg, a recognized interim CEO and management consultant who has successfully restructured over 300 companies during his 25+ years of management experience, has been appointed a Managing Director of Getzler Henrich & Associates, the firm announced today.   Mr. Goldberg officially joined the firm May 19th and will be headquartered in the firm's Boston office.


As a Managing Director, Mr. Goldberg's focus will primarily be in interim management, operating as CEO for manufacturing, distribution and retail companies seeking improved profitability and performance. 


His numerous assignments for boards of directors, shareholders and investment funds have resulted in an impressive track record of successful turnarounds and significant value enhancement for his clients. Mr. Goldberg's expertise in driving business plan metrics, assessing business plan and management viability, management team repositioning, and balance sheet restructuring is a highly regarded commodity in the turnaround industry.

Prior to joining Getzler Henrich, Mr. Goldberg was a founding partner of The Recovery Group (now CRG), and was also a Partner at Coopers & Lybrand; Vice President in the Loan Review Division and a Senior Credit Officer at BankBoston; Director of Finance at the Stop & Shop Companies, and Investment Officer in the Bond Department at John Hancock.


Lee holds both a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Northeastern University, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration with a major in International Finance from Boston College. He is a Certified Turnaround Professional, and past President and founder of the Northeast Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.
