Lightyear Capital has agreed to acquire Schellman, partnering to form a new venture in information technology and cybersecurity compliance services. As part of the transaction, Schellman’s current CEO and founder, Chris Schellman, will exit his majority interest six years ahead of his previously announced 2027 retirement date.
