LiveOffice Adds Hardy as CFO

Torrance, Calif.-based LiveOffice, a provider of cloud-based email archiving and other email services, has named Matt Hardy chief financial officer. Hardy worked previously for Digital Insight, a developer of financial software for small- and medium-sized banks and credit unions. Digital Insight was acquired by Intuit in 2007. Earlier in his career, Hardy worked in investment banking for Credit Suisse and served as controller in the printing industry. LiveOffice is backed by Summit Partners.

Hardy will manage all of the company’s financial initiatives to position it for continued growth and success in support of LiveOffice clients.

Hardy brings more than 15 years of financial experience from both public and private companies in the technology and financial industries to his new post at LiveOffice. He previously spent seven years with Digital Insight (an Intuit company), a leading SaaS developer of financial software for small- and medium-sized banks and credit unions. Hardy most recently served as vice president of finance and helped poise the company for a successful sale to Intuit in 2007 for approximately $1.33 billion. During his tenure with the company, revenue grew from $94 million to $300 million. Prior to joining Digital Insight, Hardy worked in investment banking for Credit Suisse and served as controller in the printing industry. He began his career by cofounding a company that jointly produced city-specific destination guides with Delta Airlines. Hardy earned a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in accounting and information systems from Brigham Young University.
