


SK AeroSafety Group, a portfolio company of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, has acquired Phoenix-based Fire-Tec Aero Systems, a provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul solutions to the aviation safety equipment industry. No financial terms were disclosed.

LOS ANGELES, January 25, 2022 — SK AeroSafety Group (“SK”), a portfolio company of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (“LLCP”), announced today that it has acquired Fire-Tec Aero Systems LLC (“Fire-Tec”). SK is a leading provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul (“MRO”) solutions to the aviation safety equipment industry, with locations in the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Dubai and Malaysia.
Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, Fire-Tec provides MRO aviation solutions in the United States. It specializes in three main safety product areas: fire extinguishers, oxygen bottles and emergency power equipment, servicing a diverse group of over 350 customers. Fire-Tec’s management team will continue in their current roles with the business, helping to further accelerate SK’s growth in the U.S. market.
