Aker USA, may sell Aker Philadelphia Shipyard ASA and Aker Drilling USA. (BusinessWeek)

Norilsk Nickel is considering selling a control stake in Stillwater Mining Co., according to American Metal Market. (AMM)

Palm is seeking buyers after a week of rumours, Bloomberg reported. The company hired Goldman Sachs to shop it. HTC Corp. and Lenovo Group are two potential bidders.

Boston Scientific is considering the sale of Target Therapeutics and its neuromodulation unit. The firm hired Bank of America to advise it on the sales, which could garner $2 billion.

German Landesbank LBBW is selling more than half of its stakes in other companies to comply with  European Commission regulations.

RMG Services and Teck Australia are seeking buyers for a Carrapateena deposit, an undeveloped copper and gold project. The deposit is worth as much as $500 million. (Reuters)

California Pizza Kitchen is for sale. The company hired Moelis & Co. to advise it.

Anchor Bancorp Wisconsin Inc, a lender, engaged Sandler O’Neill Partners as its financial advisor as it explores strategic alternatives.

Wynnefield Partners, a hedge fund, is urging publicly traded Motorcar Parts of America to sell itself. (Press release)
