Bigpoint GmbH, the German online gaming portal, is considering a sale, mergermarket reported. The company hired Montgomery & Co. has to help it explore strategic alternatives after receiving inbound interest in the company.

Royal Bank of Scotland continues to seek buyers for Hanco, its ATM business.

Opti Canada Inc., an oil sands project developer based in Calgary, said it expects to do a deal by the end of the year. The company has been exploring strategic alternatives.

Zix, an email encryption service provider, is exploring strategic alternatives. The company is preparing to report its first-ever profit.

Denbury Resources Inc. is exploring strategic alternatives for Encore Energy Partners LP, its oil and gas field exploration subsidiary.

Kenneth Huang has said he is not interested in buying a stake in Liverpool FC, despite reports to the contrary. Tom Hicks and George Gillett have said they are selling their ownership stakes in the club.

Winalta Inc., an Edmonton-based prefab home maker, filed for bankruptcy protection Monday. The company will be seeking buyers. The company was owed by Kos Corp. Investments Ltd.
