Israeli tech firm Magma Venture Partners has closed Magma Venture Capital IV on $150 million. This fund is the successor of Magma’s third fund raised in early 2012.
[contextly_sidebar id=”9kF2PBuvc9ZW1pyRdok98mJje5IR9FEy”]Fund IV will continue Magma’s investment focus of investing across areas of information, communication technology including mobile, cloud, new media, SaaS, e-commerce, UGC and cyber security. The fund plans to invest exclusively with Israeli entrepreneurs, mainly in Israeli based technology teams in seed and series A financing rounds. The fund is earmarked for approximately 25-30 opportunities with typical investments of between $0.5 million and $6 million.
Magma Venture Partners was founded in 1999 and is led by Yahal Zilka, Modi Rosen (co-founders), Shraga Katz, Zvi Limon, Shahar Tzafrir, Ran Achituv and Adi Yarel-Toledano.
