Maranon Capital LP has promoted four to associates. They are Kayla Brock, Caroline Cieciura, Raiq Ahmed and JD McElenney. Also, Maranon has hired Meghan Jennings as an analyst for its investment team.

CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Maranon Capital, L.P. (“Maranon”) announced today the promotion of four of its professionals and the addition of Meghan Jennings to the investment team.
Kayla Brock has been promoted to Associate on Maranon’s portfolio team. Kayla joined Maranon in 2019 as an Analyst. She was previously with KPMG. Kayla is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
Caroline Cieciura has been promoted to Associate on Maranon’s portfolio team. Caroline joined Maranon in 2019 as an Analyst. She was previously with Duff & Phelps. Caroline is a graduate of the Farmer School of Business at Miami University.
With their promotions, Kayla and Caroline take on enhanced responsibilities for the management of Maranon’s investment portfolio including underwriting, valuation and reporting.
Raiq Ahmed has been promoted to Associate on Maranon’s investment team. Raiq joined Maranon in 2019 as an Analyst after previously working at Maranon as an Intern. He is a 2019 graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
JD McElenney has been promoted to Associate on Maranon’s investment team. JD joined Maranon in 2019 as an Analyst after previously working at Maranon as an Intern. He is a 2019 graduate of the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame.
As Associates of the firm, Raiq and JD are responsible for new investment underwriting and portfolio management.
In addition to the promotions, Maranon is also pleased to announce that Meghan Jennings has joined the investment team as an Analyst with responsibility for new investment underwriting and portfolio management. Meghan was an Intern at Maranon in 2019 and is a 2020 graduate of the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame where she graduated with degrees in Finance and Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics.
