Mark Emery Joins Jordan Co.

Mark Emery has joined The Jordan Company as president of its U.S. operations management group. He previously was president and CEO of Northstar Aerospace Inc. (NYSE: NAS).

The Jordan Company, a leading private investment firm, today announced the appointment of Mark Emery as President of its U.S. Operations Management Group.  The firm's Operations Management Group, established in 1988, is a seasoned team of operations executives based in the U.S. and China who use their global experience in all areas of business operations to help the management of portfolio companies improve operating performance.  Emery will report directly to Tom Quinn, Managing Principal and head of the Operations Management Group at The Jordan Company.    

Emery, 50, joins The Jordan Company from Northstar Aerospace Inc. (NYSE: NAS) where he was President and Chief Executive Officer.  Based in Bedford Park, IL, Northstar is North America's leading independent manufacturer of flight critical gears and transmissions for aviation and aerospace.  Emery previously served as President and CEO of Indalex Aluminum Solutions Group in Chicago, IL.

Emery is an experienced international executive who has held senior level positions with several companies located in the United Kingdom, including as President of Caradon Terrain Ltd., President of Hubbard Group, and President of Maraux CVC Ltd.  He began his career at McKinsey & Company, rising to Senior Engagement Manager. Emery earned a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Bristol University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago
