Marketo Recruits Siboni to Board

Marketo, a provider of Revenue Performance Management (RPM) solutions, has appointed Roger Siboni to its board of directors. Siboni brings more than 25 years of technology leadership and guidance to Marketo’s Board. Marketo is venture capital-backed by Institutional Venture Partners, InterWest Partners, Mayfield Fund and Storm Ventures.

Marketo, the fastest growing provider of Revenue Performance Management (RPM) solutions, today announced the appointment of Roger Siboni to its Board of Directors. Siboni brings more than 25 years of technology leadership and guidance to Marketo’s Board.
Siboni spent more than 20 years at KPMG LLP, serving as deputy chairman and COO. While with KPMG, his operating experience helped the billion-dollar firm achieve triple-digit growth within its consulting and high technology practices. He then served as chairman and CEO of customer relationship management (CRM) vendor Epiphany, Inc. Since then, he has also served on the Board of Directors for several Silicon Valley companies, including Postini, Inc.; Macromedia, Inc.; Infogroup, Inc.; Active Software Inc.; ArcSight, Inc.; IronPlanet, Inc.; Cadence Design Systems Inc.; and Dolby Laboratories.

Siboni joins Fernandez; Wes Wasson, CMO of Citrix; Bruce Cleveland, partner at InterWest Partners; Doug Pepper, general partner at InterWest Partners; Tae Hea Nahm, founding general partner at Storm Ventures; Robin Vasan, managing director at Mayfield; and Norm Fogelsong, general partner at Institutional Venture Partners, on the Marketo Board of Directors.
The appointment reflects a further strengthening of Marketo’s board and senior executive team. Earlier this year, Fred Ball, former CFO of Webroot and technology industry veteran, was named CFO, and Paul Albright, the former general manager and CMO of SuccessFactors, joined as chief revenue officer (CRO) to drive the company’s overall revenue strategy. Fergus Gloster, the former senior vice president of corporate sales and a founding director of salesforce.com’s European operations, also came aboard as Marketo’s managing director of EMEA.
Siboni is a past chairman and member of the advisory board of the Haas Graduate School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley. A Certified Public Accountant in New York and California, he holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley.
