Maureen Mitchell has joined Highland Capital Management as a managing director, in charge of institutional sales. She previously was a senior managing director with Bear Stearns Asset Management.

Ms. Mitchell has over 25 years of investment management industry experience. Prior to joining Highland Capital, she was a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns Asset Management (BSAM) for ten years where she successfully led that firm's global institutional distribution efforts. Prior to BSAM, Ms. Mitchell was with Zurich Scudder where she launched a variety of alternative investment products, and covered key consultants and institutional investors. Before joining
