Maureen Mitchell has joined Highland Capital Management as a managing director, in charge of institutional sales. She previously was a senior managing director with Bear Stearns Asset Management.

Ms. Mitchell has over 25 years of investment management industry experience. Prior to joining Highland Capital, she was a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns Asset Management (BSAM) for ten years where she successfully led that firm's global institutional distribution efforts.
