MeetUp Raises $7.5 Million

MeetUp Inc., the New York-based “Web meets world” company, has raised $7.5 million in Series D funding. The round had been announced earlier this month, but without a dollar amount. Union Square Ventures led the round, while other shareholders include Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Omidyar Network. www.meetup.com
