Matthew StottsManaging Partner at TENOR
1482 E. Valley Rd. #321
I founded TENOR and run the firm as managing partner. I relish my day-to-day role as a strategic adviser to innovative entrepreneurs and investors. I have helped launch dozens of companies, products and services in mass and niche, consumer and enterprise markets working with two-person startups to Fortune 50 leaders and many types in between.
At TENOR we advise clients at many stages of the innovation economy. We support investors’ efforts to help both early entrepreneurs and seasoned management in the growth and development of their businesses. We drive market development, reputation and relationship building for national brands in specialized markets. And we help establish growth companies in the national market with corporate and executive programs.
My personal passion is helping startup founders and entrepreneurial investors bring innovation to market. As an advisor to several private investors, I often participate in due diligence efforts on new investments, support fund marketing and guide and advise portfolio companies on PR and marketing.
For startups, I advise on branding, pr, marketing and fund raising from angel and institutional investors. My goal is to help young companies save money with the lowest-cost, highest-return strategic projects and counsel. If warranted, I make direct referrals to investors that are past or current clients of TENOR or among our extended network of angels, high-nets, VCs and PE firms.
It is my goal to champion entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial, merit-based employment in all sectors. Job creation and business ownership, not home ownership, are the foundations of the American Dream.
