Meyer’s Enlightened Hospitality Fund raises $220 mln: WSJ

Danny Meyer, Shake Shack’s founder, has launched a private equity fund, according to the Wall Street Journal. Enlightened Hospitality Investments LP has raised $220 million. The fund is run by Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group and will include outside investors, along with USHG itself, the story said. The fund will invest $10 million to $20 million equity in businesses that share USHG’s “enlightened hospitality” model, the WSJ said.
