MG Stover & Co., a boutique accounting and administration firm, has hired former KRG Capital Partners executive Carrie Heintz as director of private equity and venture capital. Heintz worked at KRG for 14 years work on the fund administration function for four funds totaling $3.3 billion, as well as managing relations for more than 300 limited partners. She also prepared quarterly and annual financial statements and assisted in compliance functions. Prior to KRG, Heintz worked at Arthur Andersen.
The Chief Financial Officer of MG Stover & Co., Josiah Reich, announced today the hiring of Carrie Heintz as the new Director of Private Equity & Venture Capital.
Ms. Heintz brings 14 years of fund accounting & administration experience with her to the firm and has a diverse background within the industry. She began her tax accounting career with Arthur Andersen in the Denver office. After a couple of years, Ms. Heintz was recruited by one of her clients, Rock Bottom Restaurants, Inc, to establish the company’s internal tax department. She spent the next few years building a successful tax compliance program before moving to Idaho for a short time.
In November of 2000, she was hired by KRG Capital Partners to be a part of the accounting and finance team. Over the next 14 years, she helped develop and shape KRG’s fund administration function for four funds totaling over $3.3 billion in assets under management. She managed investor relations for over 300+ limited partners, prepared and distributed quarterly and annual financial statements including investor reports and assisted in the compliance for registered investment advisors. Her role played a critical part in helping KRG grow into one of the largest PE firms in the West.

Ms. Heintz earned her Masters in Taxation from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado and her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. In 1997, Carrie earned her certified public accountants license from the state of Colorado. She serves as Treasurer on the board of her children’s school and is involved in various charitable activities.
