Michael McFadden Joins Lockton PE

Michael McFadden has joined the private equity group of insurance broker Lockton Cos., as an executive vice president. He previously was a managing director in Marsh's private equity and mergers practice. 




Lockton Companies, the world's largest privately held insurance broker, has added Michael McFadden as Executive Vice President for the company's New York operations.

The addition of McFadden, 42, expands Lockton's depth of expertise in providing transaction-related insurance products and employee benefit due diligence for acquisition-minded clients. He will be based in Lockton's New York office and have a lead role in expanding Lockton's presence in the Philadelphia area.

With 20 years of experience in property and casualty, employee benefits, and private equity insurance arenas, McFadden has held many key production and management roles during his career. Immediately prior to joining Lockton, he was a managing director and North American Sales Leader in Marsh's Private Equity and Mergers Practice. In addition to producing for Marsh, he managed all of the firm's private equity producers in North America and was on the Marsh global operating committee.

McFadden is a 1988 graduate from Villanova University in Radnor, Pa.
