Prior to Micronics, he held senior leadership roles at companies that included Danaher Corporation, Colson Group, Symmetry Medical and Abaco Systems. Micronics is a portfolio company of Vance Street Capital.

PORTSMOUTH, NH and CHATTANOOGA, TN – Micronics Filtration Holdings, Inc. announced that Christopher G. Cummins (Chris) has been appointed President and CEO of the Micronics Engineered Filtration Group which consists of leading wet and dry filtration companies and brands: Micronics, Southern Filter Media (“SFM”), C.P. Environmental (“CPE”), United Process Control (“UPC”), and AeroPulse®. Chris officially joined the team in early April.

Chris brings 27 years of manufacturing expertise with highly-engineered products to his leadership role at Micronics. Prior to Micronics, he has held senior leadership roles including President, COO, SVP – Global Operations, and General Manager for a range of diverse, privately held and public companies including Danaher Corporation, Colson Group, Symmetry Medical, and Abaco Systems.

His areas of expertise include Lean principles & Six Sigma deployment, driving global manufacturing strategies, supply chain optimization, and continuous performance improvement. Throughout his career, Chris has successfully worked with diverse teams in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. His experience includes Metals & Mining/Mineral Processing, Industrial, Medical Device, Energy infrastructure, and Aerospace industries.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, an Executive Management Certificate from Harvard Business School, and an MBA focused on Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University.
