Miles Joins Healogics as CFO

Healogics, which is backed by Metalmark Capital, has hired David Miles as CFO and Craig Albright as EVP of marketing. Miles was most recently EVP and CFO of ResCare. Albright has served as the CEO of Gentiae Clinical Research and Free & Clear. Jacksonville, Fla.-based Healogics provides advanced wound care services.


Healogics, Inc., the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services, has hired David Miles as chief financial officer and Craig Albright as executive vice president of marketing.

“I am pleased to announce the addition of two accomplished executives to our management team,” said Jeffrey W. Nelson, chief executive officer of Healogics. “David and Craig bring a unique set of skills and experience to help round out our senior leadership.” Nelson continued, “Our company’s growth reflects the significant and expanding problem that chronic wounds represent. David Miles previously held various financial leadership roles during his fourteen year tenure with ResCare, Inc., a Louisville based human services company. Most recently, Miles served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of the company. Before his work at ResCare, Miles was with Ernst & Young LLP, as senior manager of assurance and advisory business services.

Craig Albright has been both an operating executive and active in the health care private equity community for nearly two decades. He served as CEO of several venture backed companies, including Free & Clear, Inc. and Gentiae Clinical Research; as a strategic advisor to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and CardioNet, Inc., as well as a board member of multiple venture backed companies.
