Sherpa Capital said Sept. 4 that it promoted Jorge Fernández Miret to partner.
Madrid, 4 September, 2018. Jorge Fernández Miret has been promoted to partner of Sherpa Capital, the Spanish private equity firm leader in investments in medium-sized companies that face new strategic challenges.
Fernández MIret joined Sherpa Capital in 2012 as an investment director, a role in which he led a large number of investments and divestments.
He is a board member in several portfolio companies of Sherpa Capital, such as Dogi International Fabrics, Hedonai and Macrolibros.
Furthermore, he is a lecturer at the Insitute of Stock Exchange Studies (IEB), where he teaches the M&A and Private Equity Programme.
Before joining Sherpa Capital, Fernández Miret was a consultant at C.B. Richard Ellis and Improven Consulting.
Fernández Miret holds an Executive MBA from IESE Business School and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Navarra.
