Monitor Clipper Promotes Three

Cambridge, Mass.-based private equity firm Monitor Clipper Partners has promoted three: Daniel Jang takes the role of vice president; Julia Monfrini was promoted to associate, and Renee Meuse becomes operations manager. Jang joined the firm in 2006, and focuses on healthcare and logistics-related opportunities. Monfrini joined in 2009 and has been involved in Monitor Clipper’s investments in CMC Biologics and Microgame. Meuse joined MCP in 1999 and is responsible for managing the firm’s administrative and business operations.

Monitor Clipper Partners LLC, a Cambridge, MA-based private equity firm, today announced that Daniel Jang has been promoted to Vice President, Julia Monfrini promoted to Associate, and Renee Meuse promoted to Operations Manager.

Mr. Jang joined MCP in 2006 and has been involved in Monitor Clipper’s investments in MSC, Olive Group and ScriptSave, where he sits on the Board. Mr. Jang covers healthcare and logistics-related opportunities for the firm and is based in MCP’s Cambridge office.

Prior to joining MCP, he was a consultant at the Monitor Group working primarily on MCP-related projects. Mr. Jang received a B.A., cum laude, in economics from Yale University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Ms. Monfrini joined MCP in 2009 and has been involved in Monitor Clipper’s investments in CMC Biologics and Microgame. Previously, she was an analyst with Merrill Lynch, first in its Leveraged Finance Group and later with the M&A Healthcare Group, both in London. Ms. Monfrini is based in MCP’s Zurich office, covering European investment opportunities for the firm. Ms. Monfrini received her Masters in Finance from ESCP Europe after studying in Paris, London and Berlin.

Ms. Meuse joined MCP in 1999 and is responsible for managing the firm’s administrative and business operations, including its marketing and investor relations functions. She is based in MCP’s Cambridge office. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Meuse was employed by Allyn & Bacon. Ms. Meuse is a graduate of the Katharine Gibbs liberal arts associates program and is enrolled at Bentley University.
