Navigation Capital Adds Beth Burras To Lead Investor Relations

Atlanta-based private equity shop Navigation Capital Partners has named Beth Burras to the newly created post of director of investor relations. Burras will manage fund-raising and relationships with all limited partners. She has worked previously in various roles at Apax Partners and Science Capital. Navigation has roughly $294 million under managmenet, and focuses on lower middle-market private equity deals.


Navigation Capital Partners (NCP), an Atlanta-based lower middle market private equity firm, announced the appointment of Beth Burrus as director of investor relations, a new senior role that further strengthens NCP’s investor relations capability. Beth will manage the firm’s fundraising activities in addition to relationships with current and future limited partners (LP), oversee all LP communications, as well as facilitate new business opportunities.

Beth has worked in traditional and alternative asset management sales and marketing for more than 25 years. Prior positions include senior roles at Sciens Capital, Apax Partners, Weiss, Peck & Greer and Bankers Trust, among others. Beth graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Since 2009, NCP has acquired four new platform investments, and seven add-on acquisitions have been completed across its portfolio.
