Nealon joins Meketa Investment

Meketa Investment Group said Sept. 28 that Paola Nealon joined the firm as a senior vice president. Nealon was previously an investment officer at Oregon State Treasury.

BOSTON and PORTLAND, OR September 28, 2017 – Meketa Investment Group, a global investment consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Paola Nealon recently joined the firm as a Senior Vice President. Ms. Nealon serves as a consultant for Taft‑Hartley, endowment and public fund sponsors, and her consulting work includes investment policy design, asset allocation modeling, fund performance analysis, and asset class education.Ms. Nealon is based in Meketa’s Portland, Oregon office, which has seen steady growth since its opening in 2014.

Paola Nealon Biography

Paola Nealon has over 12 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining Meketa, she was an Investment Officer at Oregon State Treasury, which manages investment portfolios for various state agencies, including the $75 billion Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund (OPERF). Previously she served as a Portfolio Manager at Northern Trust, where her duties included providing U.S., international and emerging markets program solutions for defined benefit plans, endowments and foundations.  Ms. Nealon began her career at Russell Investments, where she was responsible for evaluating U.S. equity managers.

Ms. Nealon graduated with a BA from Colgate University and received her MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University.
