German property group GSW, which is owned by Goldman Sachs's Whitehall fund and private equity firm Cerberus Capital, is planning an initial public offering for the second quarter, Reuters reported. It’s the company’s second attempt at a public listing. The company shelved plans for an IPO in May because of concern over the Greek debt crisis.
Wireless infrastructure developer 11i Solutions Inc. has closed on $1.8 million in convertible bridge financing from investment firm Steel Pier Capital Advisors. New York-based Steel Pier Capital Advisors is a private equity firm that partners with management to make non-control equity investments. 11i Solutions is based in Huntsville, Alabama.

In the past year, KPS Capital Partners and other investors has received more than $300 million in cash distributions from portfolio company HHI Group Holdings. The latest payout came today when the PE firm announced HHI had completed a $425 million recap. The debt package included a $100 million credit facility and $325 million term loan. HHI used the proceeds to fund a $100 million cash payout to stockholders, to refinance debt and to fund its continued growth.

Pennsylvania-based private equity firm L2 Capital Partners will acquire Landfill Service Corp., a New York-based supplier of landfill products and equipment. McGladrey Capital Markets worked on the transaction and was exclusive advisor to Landfill Service Corp. Terms of the transaction were not publicized.
