ReViral Ltd, a developer of novel, antiviral compounds that target respiratory syncytial virus, has named Alan A. Musso as chief financial officer. Prior to joining ReViral, Musso worked at Peloton Therapeutics Inc. ReViral's backers include New Leaf Venture Partners, Novo Ventures, Perceptive Advisors, Andera Partners, OrbiMed and Brace Pharma Capital.
Justin Sunshine has joined General Atlantic as a managing director in its New York office. He will focus on the healthcare sector. Sunshine spent the last 10 years at Blackstone, where he was a managing director in the private equity group.
Manulife Investment Management said Oct. 21 that it is launching a secondary investment business within its private markets group. Jeff Hammer and Paul Sanabria will serve as global co-heads of this business. Hammer and Sanabria previously led the secondary advisory business at Houlihan Lokey.
Boston Private has appointed Patrick Dwyer as managing director, head of strategic business development. Previously, he worked at Merrill where he was a private wealth adviser.
Doxim, a Toronto-based provider of customer communications and engagement technology to financial and regulated markets, has named Michael Rogalski as president and CEO. Rogalski will succeed Chris Rasmussen, Doxim's founder, who will become the chairman of the board of directors. Previously, he worked at EPIQ. Doxim is backed by Strattam Capital.
HKW has hired Joonhyung Rhim as a vice president on the firm’s transaction team. Prior to joining the middle-market private equity firm, Rhim was a director at Parallaxes Capital.
Legalist, a litigation finance firm, has named Sean Liu as chief financial officer. Liu is the former investment director at SoftBank's Vision Fund.
San Francisco and Berlin-based e.ventures has named Patrick Reilly as global chief financial officer. Previously, Reilly was CFO at TCV.
Bynder said Oct. 17 that Bert van der Zwan has joined the company as CEO. He succeeds current CEO and founder Chris Hall, who will join the Bynder Supervisory Board as of Nov. 1. Van der Zwan, a software veteran, is currently CEO of Onguard. Bynder is backed by Insight Venture Partners.
Sverica Capital Management said Oct. 17 that Ryan Harstad and Gregg Osenkowski were promoted to partner effective immediately.
