Carlyle Group said Sept. 30 that Matt Anderson was named the firm’s first chief digital officer while Stefan Grunwald was appointed to the role of chief procurement officer. Anderson is the former president and chief digital officer at Arrow Electronics, while Grunwald is the ex-senior vice president of strategic sourcing and procurement at Cardinal Health.

Trinity Ventures has named Brett Wilson and Neil Daswani as executives in residence. Wilson is the former CEO and co-founder of Trinity portfolio company TubeMogul while Daswani is co-founder and co-director of Stanford's Advanced Computer Security Certificate Program.
Pomona Capital has promoted Patrick Madaus to partner. He joined the firm in 2011.
Apollo Global Management said Sept. 26 that it promoted Matt Nord and David Sambur, both senior partners, to co-lead partners of private equity. Olivia Wassenaar and Geoff Strong, also senior partners, were elevated to co-leads of Apollo’s Natural Resources business, where they will oversee the firm’s existing and future natural resources funds. Dylan Foo is joining Apollo as a senior partner and co-lead of Apollo‘s infrastructure business. Greg Beard, senior partner and global head of natural resources, will be transitioning to senior adviser to Apollo through mid-2020.
Five G Capital Partners has named Mike Haridopolos as a senior managing director and chairman of the advisory board. Haridopolos is the former Florida Senate President.
