NMS Capital-backed USFAS buys Podiatric Care of Northern Virginia

Podiatric Care of Northern Virginia operates a practice in Leesburg.

NMS Capital portfolio company. U.S. Foot & Ankle Specialists has acquired Podiatric Care of Northern Virginia, a provider of podiatric services. No financial terms were disclosed.

Family owned and operated since 1982, Podiatric Care of Northern Virginia provides a complete suite of medical and surgical treatments, including care for heel pain, ankle sprains, athlete’s foot, corns, flat feet, diabetic foot care and more. In addition to the services provided at its Leesburg office, the practice provides care at several local assisted living and nursing facilities, as well as home visits for patients who meet certain criteria. Inpatient services for trauma and limb salvage are also provided at Inova Loudoun Hospital.

On the acquisition, Dr. Knudson said in a public statement: “Dr. Chan and I are pleased to join USFAS and are excited to have the opportunity to treat our patients with the significant support the organization provides to practices within its network.
