Noel Gruber Joins Law Firm BuckeySandler

Noel Gruber has joined BuckleySandler as counsel, with a focus on representing U.S. financial institutions on securities, corporate, transactional and regulatory matters. He previously was with Kennedy & Baris LLP.


BuckleySandler LLP, a leading financial services law firm based in Washington, DC, has announced that Noel M. Gruber has joined the firm as Counsel.

Mr. Gruber, formerly an attorney with Kennedy & Baris LLP, represents financial institutions throughout the United States on securities, corporate, transactional, and regulatory matters.

“Noel is a talented and respected banking lawyer who will broaden and expand BuckleySandler’s financial services industry practice in Washington, DC,” said Jeremiah S. Buckley, Co-Chair of BuckleySandler LLP. “His experience in working with industry executives and boards on challenges and issues affecting their institutions will be invaluable to our clients.”

Mr. Gruber counsels financial institutions in matters pivotal to their course, including mergers and acquisitions; tender offers; securities offerings, including trust preferred securities; proxy contests; and other management and policy matters. Other areas of expertise include securities reporting and disclosure, Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance, corporate governance, holding company formation, regulatory applications and reporting, executive compensation arrangements, employment agreements, voting agreements, and new product and business line development.

Prior to Kennedy & Baris, Mr. Gruber was with the firm of Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he represented a variety of large and small financial, insurance, and transportation companies.

Mr. Gruber graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1988, and magna cum laude from New York University in 1985 where he received a B.A. in Politics.
