Northleaf Capital taps Roderick Gadsby as infrastructure MD

Northleaf Capital Partners has hired Roderick Gadsby as a managing director on the firm’s infrastructure team. Gadsby will operate from Northleaf’s London office and focus on infrastructure transaction origination, due diligence, execution and asset management in the United Kingdom and Europe. He joins the firm from Stormharbour LLP, where he served as a partner. Gadsby also held senior infrastructure investment and advisory roles at UBS Investment Bank, Macquarie Group and Barclays Capital. Toronto-based Northleaf is a private equity, infrastructure and private credit manager.

Northleaf expands infrastructure investment team with the addition of Roderick Gadsby as a Managing Director in London

TORONTO (January 30, 2018) – Northleaf Capital Partners is pleased to announce that Roderick Gadsby has joined our firm as a Managing Director on the Infrastructure team. Rod is based in Northleaf’s London office and will focus on transaction origination, due diligence, execution and asset management relating to Northleaf’s infrastructure activities in the UK and Europe.

Prior to joining Northleaf, Roderick held senior level infrastructure investment and advisory roles at institutions such as UBS Investment Bank, Macquarie Group and Barclays Capital, and was most recently a Partner at Stormharbour LLP. With more than 20 years of corporate finance and principal investing experience in the UK and Europe, Roderick has led the origination, execution and financing of infrastructure and other real assets. In addition, Roderick has served on the corporate boards of several privately-held companies. Roderick received an M.B.A. from London Business School and a B.Comm. (Honours) from the University of British Columbia.
