Novell (Nasdaq: NOVL) has acquired SiteScape, a Maynard, Mass.-based provider of open-source team collaboration solutions. No financial terms were disclosed. SiteScape had raised around $11 million in VC funding since 1999, from firms like the Massachusetts Technology Development Corp., SAIC Venture Capital and Echelon Ventures.
