New York City’s Bureau of Asset Management, a unit in the city’s comptroller’s office, has named J. David Enriquez and Gabriel Morrow as interim co-heads of private equity. The appointments are effective immediately.
In their new roles, Enriquez and Morrow will oversee the five New York City Retirement Systems‘ more than $12 billion private equity portfolio. Currently, both serve as senior investment officers for private equity in BAM.
Prior to joining BAM, Enriquez worked as an investment banker at Rothschild, Merrill Lynch and Bear Stearns while Morrow was a senior vice president at a New York-based family office.
Enriquez and Morrow joined BAM in 2016.
