Oak Hill taps Pinho as partner

Most recently, Pinho was a co-founder and partner of 4x4 Capital, a middle-market-focused investment firm.

Oak Hill Capital has named Mark Pinho as a partner. Most recently, Pinho was a co-founder and partner of 4×4 Capital, a middle-market-focused investment firm.

Prior to 4×4, Pinho spent 12 years at Soros Fund Management, serving as a managing partner and the principal investment advisor to funds associated with the Soros family and related charitable foundations. Before Soros, he worked at BCI Partners and LiveWire Capital.

Pinho has an MBA from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.

With offices in Stamford, Connecticut, Menlo Park, California and New York City, Oak Hill has over $16 billion of initial capital commitments and co-investments since inception, according to the private equity firm.
