Oaktree hires ex-Pinebridge executive Tomi Långström

Oaktree Capital Management hired Tomi Långström as a managing director on the EMEA marketing team covering the Nordics region and the Netherlands. Before, Långström worked at Pinebridge Investments as managing director and regional head for the Nordics.

Oaktree Capital Management announced today that Tomi Långström has joined the Firm as a Managing Director of the EMEA Marketing team covering the Nordics and the Netherlands. He will be based in Helsinki.

Mr. Långström joins Oaktree from PineBridge Investments where he was a Managing Director and Regional Head for the Nordics. He previously founded and was the CEO of Northern Star Partners, an independent Finnish asset manager where he focused on business development. Prior to that Mr. Långström served as the Head of the Nordic and Eastern European client relations team and Global Head of Business Development at Man Investments. He holds a Master’s in Economics from the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration.
