Odyssey Promotes Eight

Odyssey Investment Partners has made several promotions: William Hopkins and Brian Kwait have been named co-presidents; Jeffrey McKibben and Craig Staub have been named managing principals; Robert Aikman and Ross Rodrigues have been named principals; and Dennis Moore and Matthew Satnick have been named vice presidents.

Odyssey Investment Partners, LLC today announced several promotions within its investment team:

  • William Hopkins and Brian Kwait have been named Co-Presidents. In 1997, Messrs. Hopkins and Kwait were two of the founders of Odyssey Investment Partners, and will also continue to serve as Managing Principals.
  • Jeffrey McKibben and Craig Staub have been named Managing Principals. Messrs. McKibben and Staub previously served as Principals.
  • Robert Aikman and Ross Rodrigues have been named Principals. Messrs. Aikman and Rodrigues previously served as Vice Presidents.
  • Dennis Moore and Matthew Satnick have been named Vice Presidents. Messrs. Moore and Satnick previously served as Associates.

William Hopkins is one of the founders of Odyssey Investment Partners and was a Principal in the private equity investing group of Odyssey Partners from 1994 to 1997. Prior to joining Odyssey, Mr. Hopkins was a member of the merchant banking group at GE Capital Corporation. He is a graduate of the University of California at San Diego and received his MBA from the University of Southern California.

Brian Kwait is also one of the founders of Odyssey Investment Partners and was a Principal in the private equity investing group of Odyssey Partners from 1989 to 1997. Prior to joining Odyssey, Mr. Kwait was at Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Jeffrey McKibben joined Odyssey Investment Partners in 2000 as an Associate and was promoted to Principal in 2003. Prior to joining Odyssey, Mr. McKibben was an Associate with Saugatuck Capital and an Associate with Marakon Associates. He received his BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from Harvard University's Graduate School of Business Administration.

Craig Staub joined Odyssey Investment Partners in 2003 as an Associate and was promoted to Principal in 2004. Prior to joining Odyssey, Mr. Staub was a Vice President at Westbury Equity Partners, a Vice President for The Shattan Group and an Associate with Marakon Associates. He received a BA in Economics and a Masters in Public Policy from the College of William and Mary.

Robert Aikman joined Odyssey Investment Partners in 2002 as an Associate and was promoted to Vice President in 2006. Prior to joining Odyssey, Mr. Aikman was an Analyst at UBS Warburg. He received his BA in Finance from Tulane University.

Ross Rodrigues joined Odyssey Investment Partners in 2002 as an Associate and was promoted to Vice President in 2006. Prior to joining Odyssey, Mr. Rodrigues was an Associate at Fenway Partners and an Analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston. He received his BS in Computer Science Engineering from Tufts University.

Dennis Moore joined Odyssey Investment Partners in 2003. Prior to joining Odyssey, Mr. Moore was an Analyst at Salomon Smith Barney. He received his BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Matthew Satnick joined Odyssey Investment Partners in 2004. Prior to joining Odyssey, Mr. Satnick was an Associate at Saunders Karp & Megrue and an Analyst at Lazard Freres. He received a BA in Diplomatic History from the University of Pennsylvania.

In addition, Douglas Hitchner, Randy Paulson and Douglas Rotatori will continue in their roles as Managing Principals.
