Ogdon buys AIA Industries

Ogdon Ventures, a lower-middle market private equity firm, has acquired AIA Industries Inc, a skylight manufacturer and plastic fabricator. No financial terms were disclosed. Also, Ogdon has hired David Wilkins as president and CEO of AIA Industries.


DENVER, Aug. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — AIA Industries Inc., a leading skylight manufacturer and plastic fabricator, announces it has been acquired by Ogdon Ventures, a family-run private equity firm seeking investments in the lower middle market. With a vision toward growth, Ogdon Ventures has hired David Wilkins to serve as President and CEO of the new organization, AIA Industries, LLC.

AIA Industries, LLC has been in business since 1977 and operates two divisions. The skylight division focuses on developing high-end architectural daylighting solutions for residential and commercial applications and has a product line of standard and custom structural and domed skylights. The second division fabricates and vacuum forms plastic, including light fixture lenses, display cases and point of purchase displays.
