Mid Cap Buyout & Growth Capital
Céleste Lauriot-dit-Prévost has joined the Mid Cap Buyout & Growth Capital team as Associate, under the management of Éric Rey, Managing Partner.
The mid cap team invests in SMEs / ETIs with high growth potential. Since 2005, it has made 36 investments, 55 build-ups and 30 exits. Its 4th generation fund (Omnes Croissance 4 at 210 million euros) is invested in Cogepart (fast shipping service), Dispam (controlled temperature transport), Circet (Telecom infrastructure) and ANI (distribution of fasteners for the aeronautical sector). It sold Capcom (fibre optic installation and cable networks) in February 2017.
Small Cap Buyout & Growth Capital
Frédéric Mimoun has been appointed Senior Director within the Small Cap Buyout & Growth Capital team, under the management of Laurent Espic, Partner. Victor Versmée has joined the team as Associate.
Through its third-generation funds which are in the process of being raised (target size 120 million euros), the small cap team invests in the capital of unlisted French SMEs in growth capital and buyout deals. A first investment in the group Mistral (ERP software dedicated to agricultural equipment dealers and distributors of materials for public works) was completed in June 2018.
Venture Capital
Xavier Brunaud and François-Xavier Dedde have been appointed Directors within the Venture Capital team, under the management of Michel de Lempdes, Managing Partner.
With more than 30 trade sales and around 15 IPOs completed in 19 years (notably Novaled, Biovex, arGEN-X and Direct Energie), Omnes’s venture capital team is one of the leading players in France in financing innovative SMEs with a dual expertise in deep-tech and health sectors.
Infrastructure
Benjamin Stremsdoerfer has joined the Renewable Energy team, as Director. Michael Pollan has been appointed Partner.
Gonzague de Trémiolles and Caroline Yametti have been appointed Directors within the Green Building team. These two teams are under the management of Serge Savasta, Managing Partner.
Omnes is a forerunner in the field of energy transition, with the launch of its first Capenergie fund in 2006. Since then, the company has made more than 35 investments in France and Europe in renewable energies, equivalent to 1.5 GW of production capacity. Xavier Brunaud (38 years old), Director
Xavier Brunaud was appointed Director within the Venture Capital team in July 2018 after joining Omnes in July 2007. He invests mainly in software, mobile and marketplace models. He serves on the board of directors at AB Tasty, Bankin ‘, Tilkee, Prodealcenter, Eptica, Viavoo and TVSmiles. Xavier Brunaud began his career in 2006 at BNP Paribas in New York in the Loan & Portfolio Management department, in charge of the securitization of credit lines on behalf of the CIB. A graduate of EM Lyon, he also holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Financial Law from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
François-Xavier Dedde (39 years old), Director
François-Xavier Dedde was appointed Director in July 2018 within the Venture Capital team after joining Omnes in September 2006. He invests notably in digital sectors (software, media, e-commerce & marketplace). He sits on the board of directors at Tiller, Geev, AT Internet, Qualtera and 360impirmir. He has also managed and sold the following companies: Adictiz, Deny all, Mesdocteurs and Aquafadas. François-Xavier Dedde began his career in 2004 in the Private Equity team at Crédit Lyonnais Private Equity before joining Crédit Agricole CIB in New York in 2005 to cover major accounts in the aerospace and defence sectors. An Engineering graduate from ESIEE Paris, he also holds a postgraduate degree in finance from EM Lyon (MIF).
Céleste Lauriot-dit-Prévost (28 years old), Associate
Céleste Lauriot-dit-Prévost joined Omnes in April 2018 as Associate within the Mid Cap Buyout & Growth Capital team. Since 2015 she worked at HSBC in Leveraged & Acquisition Finance, after having spent two years at après EY TAS. Céleste Lauriot-dit-Prévost graduated with a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance & Financial Engineering from Université Paris-Dauphine.
Frédéric Mimoun (45 years old), Senior Director
Frédéric Mimoun has been appointed Senior Director within the Small Cap Buyout & Growth Capital team after joining Omnes in September 2016. Frédéric Mimoun began his career at Arthur Andersen in Recovery/Transaction Services, before moving to Société Générale in M&A in London. He then joined the Royal Bank of Scotland in Paris as Director of origination in Leveraged Finance, before joining Nixen Partners. Since 2015, Frédéric Mimoun was in charge of Private Debt for France and Benelux at Blackrock. He is a graduate from the Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics Paris.
Michael Pollan (40 years old), Partner
Michael Pollan joined the Renewable Energy team in 2013 and was appointed Partner in July 2018. He began his career in 2003 at the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) in Washington DC, as Analyst, then joined Eco-Carbone in Paris in 2005 as Project Manager of Carbon Financing. In 2008, he joined the Natixis group as Investment officer at Natixis Environnement & Infrastructures and became Deputy Head of Carbon Finance in 2012, then Associate Director, Global Infrastructure & Project Finance. Michael Pollan graduated from Johns Hopkins University, Washington DC (US) and the University of York (UK).
Benjamin Stremsdoerfer (38 years old), Director
Benjamin Stremsdoerfer joined the Renewable Energy team in March 2018, as Director. He was previously Deputy Director ADEME (Agence de l’Environnement et de la Maîtrise de l’Energie), within the Management of Future Investments. Amongst his previous experience, Benjamin Stremsdoerfer notably was consultant at L.E.K consulting (international strategic advice agency) in Paris. He graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Imperial College.
Gonzague de Trémiolles (36 years old), Director
Gonzague de Trémiolles joined the Green Building team in 2016. He was promoted to Director in July 2018. He began his career in 2007 at Cabinet Michel Klopfer, a leading financial advisory firm for local authorities. He was then in charge of setting up and monitoring Public Private Partnerships on behalf of local authorities. In 2013, Gonzague de Trémiolles joined RTE to oversee the Group’s subsidiaries and holdings, including real estate, and looking after M&A activities. He is a graduate of IEP Paris with a Master’s in Public Affairs (2005).
Victor Versmée (26 years old), Associate
Victor Versmée joined the Small Cap Buyout & Growth Capital team in February 2018 as Associate. He was previously analyst at BNP Paribas in the M&A Large Caps team. Victor Versmée is a graduate of ESCP-Europe.
Caroline Yametti (38 years old), Director
Caroline Yametti joined Omnes in February 2017 within the Green Building team. She was promoted to Director in July 2018. Caroline Yametti began her career at HSBC in structured real estate finance and advisory in Paris and London. Before joining Omnes, she spent seven years at UK fund InfraRed Capital Partners, specialising in infrastructure and real estate investments. Caroline Yametti is a graduate of HEC.
