If you haven’t seen the March cover story for the Venture Capital Journal, you need to check it out.
It’s a soup to nuts look at investing in India. Joanna Glasner and I really hit this subject hard and looked at every angle of the Indian economy: from stock markets to power outages, the management shortage to the VC investment surplus, IP theft to investments in coffee makers. We lined up big-name investors such as Intel Capital’s Arvind Sodhani and Norwest’s Promod Haque. We’ve also pointed to rising stars, such as Kleiner Perkins’ Ajit Nazre, the man behind one of the subcontinent’s hottest IPOs.
Special thanks to all the PEHub.com readers that submitted their thoughts on India via the website or to me directly. I’ve sent them copies of the full story that is usually only available to VCJ subscribers.
