ORIX Capital Partners (OCP), an operationally focused middle-market private equity firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Will Chan to the firm’s team in New York.
Mr. Chan joins OCP as a Vice President where he is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing and managing investments across industries.
Prior to joining OCP, Mr. Chan was an Associate at Madison Dearborn Partners, a private equity firm focused on middle-market buyouts and growth equity investments. At Madison Dearborn Partners, Mr. Chan was responsible for making investments across the business services, technology and financial services sectors. He worked closely with portfolio company management teams on organic growth initiatives, bolt-on acquisitions, capital allocation and capital raises. Before Madison Dearborn Partners, Mr. Chan was an investment banking analyst at Centerview Partners, where he advised multinational corporations on M&A transactions, carve-outs and special situations.
Mr. Chan earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. with a major in Economics from Dartmouth College, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa.
