Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System has named Seth A. Kelly as its new chief investment officer.
Previously, Kelly worked at the Missouri State Employees Retirement System where he recently served as chief investment officer. With Kelly at the helm, MOSERS’ investment team “focused on investment strategies that emphasized diversification, fee reduction, strategic asset allocation and prudent risk management,” said the news release announcing the appointment.
Kelly is succeeding former CIO W. Bryan Lewis who left PA SERS to take a job in the private sector.
Established in 1923, PA SERS is a retirement plan for public employees that has more than 240,000 members.
