TPG Growth said Wednesday that it acquired Taco Bueno. Financial terms weren’t announced. Palladium Equity Partners is the seller. Farmers Branch, Texas-based Taco Bueno is a Tex-Mex restaurant chain that operates across 177 locations in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Colorado. Palladium originally invested in Taco Bueno in 2005. Jason Freedman of Ropes & Gray advised TPG Growth. UPDATE: Tim Alexander and Brant Cash of Harris Williams advised Palladium.
San Francisco, California and Farmers Branch, Texas, December 2, 2015 – TPG Growth, the middle market and growth equity investment platform of TPG, today announced the acquisition of Tex-Mex quick service restaurant plus (QSR+) chain Taco Bueno. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
