Pamlico refinances MetaMetrics

Pamlico Capital has recapitalized MetaMetrics. No financial terms were disclosed. Based in Durham, North Carolina, MetaMetrics is an educational measurement and research company.

Durham, NC, January 4, 2016 – MetaMetrics, Inc. (“MetaMetrics” or the “Company”) announced today that Pamlico Capital (“Pamlico”) has completed a recapitalization of the Company. Co-Founders Jack Stenner, Ph.D., and Malbert Smith, Ph.D., along with the rest of the management team will continue to lead the growth of the Company going forward. Jack Stenner, Ph.D., and Malbert Smith, Ph.D., will also maintain significant ownership in MetaMetrics. Pamlico has committed additional equity capital to support future acquisitions and organic growth initiatives. Further transaction details have not been disclosed.
