Pantheon said Jan. 8 that it opened an office in Dublin, Ireland. Stephen Branagan is CEO of Pantheon Ireland and Pantheon’s head of Ireland.

Pantheon, a $42 billion global investor in private equity, infrastructure, real assets and debt, has announced it is fully operational in Dublin, Ireland. Pantheon Ventures (Ireland) DAC (“Pantheon Ireland”), established as a Designated Activity Company (DAC), is authorized to conduct regulated activities and so is ready to assume the role of EU AIFM and Investment Manager for Pantheon’s Luxembourg-domiciled Alternative Investment Funds and Single Investor Vehicles.
Pantheon Ireland is authorized by the Central Bank of Ireland (“CBI”) as an EU AIFM to conduct regulated activities within the EU on behalf of Pantheon, a global investor in private equity, infrastructure, real assets and debt.
Pantheon Ireland is staffed by a local team of five led by Stephen Branagan, Chief Executive Officer of Pantheon Ireland and Pantheon’s Head of Ireland. He brings significant experience of the private markets industry as well as the Irish funds’ ecosystem. Stephen is an Irish qualified accountant with considerable expertise and with experience of leading business functions across multiple locations for Irish company offices of international investment firms.
The Dublin team includes Maeve Kelly, Laura Kilduff and Sinead McQuaid whose backgrounds and roles are set out below. Each of them fills a key Designated Person (“DP”) function.
Pantheon Ireland will be supervised by a Board of Directors chaired by Naomi Daly, who has multiple years’ governance experience as both an executive and non-executive director of an EU AIFM, as well as both AIFM and UCITS fund structures.
