Parthenon Capital Partners has recapitalized Morrisville, North Carolina-based eTix, a web-based ticketing service provider for the entertainment industry. No financial terms were disclosed.
Morrisville, NC – eTix, a leader and innovator in ticketing software and solutions, announced today it has completed a growth-oriented recapitalization with Parthenon Capital Partners (Parthenon), a private equity firm with offices in Boston and San Francisco. The transaction provides eTix with access to the capital necessary to drive further innovation and ensure it continues to offer an industry-leading ticketing solution.
This investment marks the first time eTix has taken on institutional funding – having been independently profitable since 2004.
