By Light Professional IT Services LLC, which is backed by Sagewind Capital, has agreed to acquire Orlando, Florida-based Cole Engineering Services Inc, a full spectrum training and analysis developer, integrator and services provider. No financial terms were disclosed. The deal is expected to close early in the fourth quarter of this year.
MCLEAN, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–By Light Professional IT Services LLC (“By Light” or “the Company”) today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Cole Engineering Services, Inc. (CESI), an industry-leading, full spectrum (live, virtual, constructive and gaming) training and analysis developer, integrator and services provider. The transaction is subject to the approval of CESI shareholders and normal regulatory approvals, with closing expected early in the fourth quarter of 2019.
CESI develops unique simulation-based systems for simple and complex military missions, and has extensive experience developing interoperable distributed simulation architectures for engineering and training environments. Led by a highly talented and experienced team, with deep institutional knowledge and an extensive infrastructure in the form of laboratories and tools/methodologies, CESI tackles some of the military’s most complex modeling and simulation projects.
